John Wrenn, Maggie Wrenn | The Lakefront Restaurant

The Lakefront Restaurant, located inside the iconic Theater on the Lake building at Fullerton Pkwy. and Lake Shore Drive, offers a dining experience that combines Midwestern cuisine with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and Chicago’s incredible skyline.

The Lakefront Restaurant's menu focuses on Midwestern fare, accompanied by a beverage program that highlights the local craft beer and spirits scenes, as well as a diverse wine list. The approachable menu ensures that there is something for any occasion, whether it's a casual lunch, weekend brunch or a romantic dinner with stunning views.

With seating for 125 guests, the restaurant features intimate tables, communal seating and a lounge area. The Skyline Patio, open seasonally, offers seating for an additional 80 patrons. The Prairie-style Theater on the Lake building was constructed in Lincoln Park in 1920 and converted into a theater in 1952. It underwent a lengthy renovation in 2017.

With its prime location and emphasis on quality, The Lakefront Restaurant is a must-visit destination for those seeking an upscale dining experience with a remarkable view of Lake Michigan.
