Marty Padilla | Greater River North Business Association
Since 1981, the Greater River North Business Association has worked on behalf of the business community in River North and Streeterville, two of Chicago's most high-profile neighborhoods. It is the only association that supports local businesses in the area, and its members are hundreds of companies and organizations that, combined, employ more than 16,000 people.
Led by Marty Padilla, the first Latina woman of color to become president of the GreaterRNBA, the association serves an array of industries within the River North and Streeterville community. The hospitality industry has a huge presence in River North; therefore the association provides those businesses with a plethora of marketing opportunities and assistance in securing licensing and permits, when needed. In addition, they are given special membership rates and the opportunity to showcase their space by hosting one of our monthly professional interchanges.
The GreaterRNBA is a nonprofit organization and their annual signature events such as their Golf Outing, Albert M. Friedman Award and Business Expo help raise money for the association as well as provide opportunities for members to sponsor to help bring brand awareness of their product or services.
